Here’s a Halloween card illustration that came about from an evolving concept. It all started with rough sketches and ideas as I kept digging the project began to take on a life of its own. I originally envisioned the Grim Reaper trick-or-treating with neighborhood kids, but after some creative discussions, the concept expanded. The final idea unearthed a skeletal twist on the Frankenstein Monster and the Bride of Frankenstein. The original illustration was created on illustration board with acrylic and colored pencils. Then with a few quick touchups in photoshop the final illustration was brought to life.
