Race into a world of speed, movement, and artistic energy with my illustration of Barry Allen. This is part of my Heroes and Villains Through Art History Series!

When I envisioned how to portray Barry, I found the magic of post-impressionism to be the perfect fit. This artistic movement allowed me to play with lines, colors, and brushstrokes, creating a captivating representation of The Flash as he travels through the Speed Force.

Vincent Van Gogh was a major influence for this artwork.

I created two versions of this artwork. The Speed Force Variant, with its gold lighting, pays homage to the comic book rendition of Barry Allen’s Flash. The original version with the blue lightning draws inspiration from the DCU portrayal of Barry.
